CNCU budgeting accounts offer a simple, convenient way of ensuring that priority bills are paid on time. This account can be funded through benefits, payroll deductions, wages, standing order and direct debit.

A member of our team will help you (if required) to set up the account, according to your circumstances.

How do budgeting accounts work?

The account works on a unique system called ‘Lock Down’, not offered by high street banks. When you have identified the essential bills to be paid, that amount is placed in a lock-down state until payments have been paid on your behalf.

All you need to do is decide which bills and payments you would like to be made on your behalf each month and CNCU will do the rest. As long as your income comes into your account as agreed, each of your agreed payments will be made on time.

Who are they suitable for?

Budgeting accounts are most suitable for:

  • Members who struggle to budget their money
