CNCU aims to provide ethical savings solutions for all members of the local community.
Saving with the CNCU is a convenient and safe way to save as little or as much as the member wishes without high bank charges and subject to criteria that not everyone can meet.
Saving regularly allows members to work towards financial goals and can provide a cushion for unforeseen financial emergencies. Regular saving can reduce the need to lend money from costly sources such as pay day lenders and door step lenders. Members can save with the CNCU for items such as holidays, a new car, birthdays, weddings or just simply for the future.
There are a variety of accounts that are offered, these include a Regular Savings Account, a Christmas Savers Account and a Juveniles Saving Account.
Savings can be made paid into accounts using a wide range of methods, Benefits, Payroll deductions, Cash, Cheque, Direct Debit, Standing Order and Pay-point. Alternatively you can have your child benefit paid to us.
It is easy to access your savings when you need them contact us for your latest balance then simply download the share withdrawal form and post it to us or email you request to firstname.lastname@example.org
Savings can be paid into your bank account by BACS transfer or loaded onto the ABCUL prepaid card that we offer.
The CNCU does not pay interest on savings but we so aim to pay a dividend to members and this is approved by the membership at the Annual General Meeting.
